Our Construction Is Finally Happening!! (Cont..)
I forgot when I took these pictures, not that it matters anyway:
Below is th color of the tile we chose for arond the fireplace. We tried to get them to put a granite fireplace in, but it turns out that's not an option they allow for, in fact the granite fireplace in the model home was done as a favor to the builder by a friend of his!
The middle top set of tile below is what we chose for the bathroom tiles (Master Bath).
Well, remember that picture of the brick that was on the very first construction page? Well the manufacturer discontinued it, so we had to pick a new brick. Below is the color we picked.
Below are the cabinets. Pay more attention to the style than the color. The actual color of the ones we picked are going to be closer to a natural maple wood color.
The section of carpet in the center of the picture below is the color berber carpet we chose to go throughout the whole house.
And here we have the linolium that we chose for the kithen. We decided we'd take the cheap route here and probably put wood floors in later down the road a couple of years.
And finally the last 2 pictures are of the windows we chose. These are new to the builder as an option. We originally picked all wood windows (we had a choice between wood and vynl), but these give us the best of both worlds, they're all wood as you can see in the picture just below.
But, on the outside, they're encased in vynl. This gives us a maintenance free wood window!!
