Our Construction Is Finally Happening!! (Cont..)
Pictures below were taken on 9/28/99:
Well you can see below that they fixed the screwup and centered the garage door like it's supposed to be.
You can also see the white on the basement walls, this is plaster to help seal out moisture and to give them a surface to apply the Bituthene moisture barrier that will cover the exterior walls before they backfill. The black portion is only tarred because it's actually solid concrete and is above ground level.
This picture (on the left) is of the left side of the house. You can see the blocks stagger to conform with the slope of the ground around the house. The picture to the right is of the backside of the house. The other picture (on the right) is of the backside of the house.
Below is the right side of the house. Also plastered and tarred.
Below are just dumb pictures of a plastar coated wheel barrel and an empty bucket of tar.
